A Nightmare From Reality

Knowing that I loved you

Was all I really needed

Knowing that you loved me too

Was all that made my life complete

Until you told me there was another,

That we could never go on

That you really couldn’t bother

To dishonestly carry on.

Until this day I still love you

It’s hard to hate you now

Ever since that fateful day we met,

After all the memories we’d have

Good, bad, happy, sad.

I can’ t hate you anymore,

Ever since you closed that door

Although my heart is now unfilled

And I feel like I can’t go on,

Like I can no longer be fulfilled.

I have nothing else more to give

You left me for some other girl,

Although my heart allowed me to live,

After all I had given you making you pleased,

Only to see myself being teased,

By this new found girl that you possess

You don’t know how I am depressed,

I still love you too much to let this pass

A simple nightmare from reality, to lose focus from class.
